Wolff Gunsprings 1911 Government 22 lb Recoil Spring

A 22 lb Wolff recoil spring for full size 1911 Government Model pistols. Wolff groups its 1911 springs by load: this one is a Type C extra power spring, meant for hardball and heavier loads.

Wolff notes that a conventional spring like this one suits heavier loads, where keeping the slide closed longer is the goal. As a check, spent brass landing 3 to 6 feet away means the spring weight is about right for your ammunition.
