Wolff Gunsprings 1911 Government 20 lb Recoil Spring

A 20 lb Wolff recoil spring for full size 1911 Government Model pistols. Wolff groups its 1911 springs by load: this one is a Type C extra power spring, meant for hardball and heavier loads.

Twenty pounds is a common step up from the 16 lb stock weight for a 1911 fed a steady diet of full power ammunition. Watch where your brass lands: Wolff says 3 to 6 feet is about right, and much farther calls for a heavier spring.
