Wolff Gunsprings 1911 Government 18.5 lb Variable Power Spring

An 18.5 lb Wolff variable power recoil spring for full size 1911 Government Model pistols. A variable power spring is wound so its resistance builds as the slide travels back, which softens the start of the recoil stroke and firms up as the slide nears the frame.

Pick the weight to suit your ammunition: heavier springs for stout loads, lighter springs for mild ones. Wolff notes variable springs work especially well with compensated pistols and light target loads.
