About the 10 Ring Sylvan 5.56mm
This is the 223 and 5.56 version of 10 Ring's direct thread Sylvan can. It threads on at 1/2-28, the standard 5.56 muzzle thread, so nothing else needs to be bought or installed before it goes on the rifle. The tube is titanium, the blast chamber and blast baffle are stainless steel, and the baffle stack behind them is titanium.
It runs 8.1 inches and 14.3 ounces without a muzzle device. 10 Ring calls for a 10.5 inch minimum barrel with 223 and 5.56 up to rapid fire, so short barrel hosts are covered, and it is not rated for long action or magnum cartridges. It is not HUB compatible, so plan on running it direct thread rather than shopping for hub mounts. The tube wears a matte black Cerakote finish.
