About the Yankee Hill Machine R9
The R9 is Yankee Hill Machine's heavy use 9mm can. YHM built it primarily for 9mm submachine guns and SBRs where volume of fire is high, but it also handles rifle rounds, with a rating that runs from 17 HMR up to 308 Win. The body is a fully welded, tubeless stainless steel design, and it can go on a handgun when paired with YHM's Nielsen booster assembly.
Out of the box it is set up as a direct thread can: the 1/2-28 direct thread HUB adapter (YHM-2145-28) threads into the 1 3/8-24 HUB rear of the suppressor, so the R9 also takes YHM's other HUB mounts. It is 5.2 inches long on a 1.562 inch tube and weighs 10.7 ounces. YHM lists 123 dB with 9mm from a 4.25 inch barrel and 125 dB from a 10.5 inch barrel. Minimum barrel length for 308 Win, 350 Legend and 5.56 NATO is 16 inches.
