Winchester Wildcat Thumbhole 22 LR 18" 10rd Gray Rifle

The Wildcat Thumbhole puts a gray laminated thumbhole stock on Winchester's rimfire autoloader. The comb is height adjustable, so it can be raised to meet the line of sight through a scope rather than forcing a compromise cheek weld. The 18" barrel is button rifled and matte blued, and the black composite receiver carries an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting optics without a separate base.

Operation is blowback, feeding from a 10 round magazine in 22 LR. The laminate stock adds rigidity and a bit of heft, which settles the rifle down on a bag or a rest. Ambidextrous controls make it easy to hand off to a left handed shooter, and the thumbhole grip keeps the firing wrist in a more vertical position than a conventional sporter stock allows. This is the standard Thumbhole configuration rather than the SR version. The adjustable comb and the integrated rail are the two features that make this one worth scoping properly rather than hanging a bare optic on it.
