Winchester Wildcat SR Thumbhole 22 LR 16.5" 10rd Gray Rifle

The Wildcat SR Thumbhole is the rimfire Wildcat wearing a gray laminated thumbhole stock with a height adjustable comb, so the comb can be set to where the optic sits instead of building a cheek weld around it. The 16.5" barrel is button rifled, matte blued and cut with 1/2-28 threads at the muzzle, and it finishes in a recessed target style crown. A Picatinny rail runs along the black composite receiver, so glass goes on without a separate base.

A thumbhole stock puts the wrist into a straighter, more vertical hold, and the laminate adds rigidity and a little weight compared with a hollow synthetic shell. The magazine holds 10 rounds of 22 LR. Controls are ambidextrous, which matters more on a rimfire that gets passed around a range than on almost any other rifle in the safe. The threaded muzzle makes it a straightforward suppressor host, and the barrel carries a matte blued finish along its full 16.5" length. Between the adjustable comb, the rail and the threads, this one is set up to be shot with a scope and a can rather than over open sights.
