Winchester SX4 Compact 20 GA 28" 4rd Shotgun

The Winchester SX4 Compact takes the full SX4 feature set and fits it to smaller shooters. The black composite stock has a 13 inch length of pull, an inch and a quarter shorter than the standard gun. That brings the recoil pad to the shoulder more naturally and moves the balance rearward, so the gun is easier to mount and hold on target. This 20 gauge has a 3 inch chamber and a 28 inch barrel, and the aluminum alloy receiver, barrel and stock all wear a matte black finish.

The SX4 runs on Winchester's Active Valve gas system, the same design behind the SX2 and SX3. The controls are oversized: a larger cocking handle, a bigger bolt release, a reversible safety button and a wider trigger guard opening for gloved fingers. A TRUGLO fiber optic front sight picks up fast on flushing birds, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad soaks up felt recoil. Three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) and sling swivel studs are included. The magazine holds 4 rounds of 2.75 inch shells, and the gun weighs about 6.5 lbs.
