About this product

The Winchester SX4 Field Compact takes everything that makes the Super X4 a fast, soft shooting autoloader and fits it to smaller shooters. The stock is an inch and a quarter shorter, giving a 13" length of pull that mounts naturally to the shoulder and brings the balance slightly rearward so the gun points and holds more easily. This model is a 20 gauge with a 3" chamber and a 28" vent rib barrel, and the magazine holds 4 rounds of 2.75" shells.

The stock and forearm are satin oil finished Turkish walnut with cut checkering, over a lightweight matte black aluminum alloy receiver. A TruGlo long bead fiber optic front sight helps you pick up birds fast, and the Inflex recoil pad pulls the comb down and away from your face under recoil. The Active Valve gas system handles light and heavy loads, the bolt handle and bolt release are oversize, and the crossbolt safety is reversible. Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder Invector-Plus choke tubes come with it. It is a strong choice for a smaller framed hunter or a young shooter moving up to a real field gun.
