Winchester Model 70 Long Range 6.8 Western 24in 4+1 Matte Black and Tan

The Winchester Model 70 Long Range in 6.8 Western carries the lineage of the Model 70 since 1936 into a modern precision hunting and long-range platform, and you'll notice why the moment you shoulder it: the forged steel receiver with flat-bottom bedding and two-point aluminum bedding in the Bell & Carlson stock locks the action for consistent shot-to-shot accuracy, while the classic Controlled Round Feed bolt with massive claw extractor assures reliable feeding and safe, controlled extraction under field conditions. The 24" fluted, button-rifled barrel with muzzle brake and a 1:8" twist delivers the velocity and barrel cooling needed for extended-range big-game shots with the 6.8 Western cartridge, and the M.O.A. Trigger System provides an adjustable, crisp break that helps you hold steady on long or wind-affected shots. The three-position thumb safety, right-hand configuration, 4+1 capacity, drilled and tapped receiver for optics, matte black finish and 7.8 lb balance make this bolt-action rifle a go-to choice for hunters pursuing elk, mule deer and other western game as well as for shooters building a long-range hunting rig; note that this firearm is an FFL-required transfer.
