Wilson Combat DMR 223 Wylde 18" 10rd Rifle

Wilson Combat built its name on accuracy, and the Designated Marksman Rifle carries that reputation onto an AR platform chambered in 223 Wylde. The Wylde chamber splits the difference between a tight 223 Remington match chamber and a 5.56 NATO chamber, so the rifle safely handles both cartridges while holding the closer tolerances that precision shooters look for. The 18" barrel pulls full velocity out of heavy match loads, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28, ready for a brake, flash hider, or suppressor with no gunsmithing.

A designated marksman rifle lives in the space between a carbine and a dedicated precision bolt gun. It has to hit small targets at distance and still run fast up close, and that is the role this rifle fills. Wilson Combat assembles these guns in house with the same attention the company has applied to custom 1911s for decades, and the results show up on paper.
