The Weatherby Vanguard Spike Camp is a purpose-built backcountry bolt-action rifle tuned for hunters who hike in and hunt hard. Chambered in 308 Winchester, the 20-inch threaded barrel is suppressor and brake ready for shorter, more manageable carry in timber and steep country.
The Vanguard action is machined and tested to Weatherby's sub-MOA standard with Weatherby's premium ammunition. A two-stage, match-quality trigger breaks clean, and a hinged floorplate magazine holds 5 rounds of 308 Win. The Monte Carlo synthetic stock is weather-sealed, textured for wet-hand grip, and paired with a recoil pad that soaks up heavier hunting loads.
A fluted bolt body, enlarged bolt handle, and forged receiver mean the Vanguard Spike Camp is built to run fast shot-to-shot when the elk step out of the timber.
