Weatherby Vanguard Arctic Pro 300 Wby Mag 24" White Rifle

Weatherby chambering its own magnum in its own action, dressed for winter. This Arctic Pro carries a 24 inch cold hammer forged barrel with a threaded muzzle and an included brake, white Cerakote on the metal, and a hand painted arctic pattern on the synthetic Monte Carlo stock. The Peak 44 package puts a 20 MOA Picatinny rail on the receiver and an ARCA and Picatinny rail on the forend. A match grade trigger and the SUB-MOA guarantee come standard on the Vanguard action.

300 Wby Mag pushes the same bullets as the Winchester magnum with a meaningful jump in velocity, which shows up as less drop and more punch at distance. It is a big game cartridge through and through: elk, moose, big bears, open country mule deer. The tradeoff is recoil, and that is exactly why the brake is included. Anyone planning to shoot this rifle enough to trust it will want that brake in place, or a suppressor on the threads, for practice sessions.
