Weatherby Sorix 12 GA 28" 2rd Storm Shotgun

The Sorix is Weatherby's inertia operated semi auto 12 gauge, and this model wears the Storm pattern on a synthetic stock over gray Cerakote metal. It has a 3" chamber, a 28" vent rib barrel and holds 2 rounds in the magazine tube. The stepped rib carries an LPA fiber optic front sight, and the receiver is drilled and tapped (8-40 holes) to take an optic mount.

Controls are oversized. The slammer bolt release, charging handle and safety all work with gloves on, and the receiver has a competition cut for faster loading. The Shift System lets a left handed shooter move the charging handle and reverse the safety for a true left hand gun. Adjustable stock shims set cast and fit, with textured touch points for a sure grip and a soft cheekpiece. Length of pull is 14.3", drop at comb 1.5" and drop at heel 1.9" to 2.5". The gun weighs about 7.1 lbs and measures 49" overall. It uses the Crio Plus choke pattern and comes with 5 chokes (cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified and full), a choke wrench and a carrying case. It is a solid waterfowl and upland gun that is easy to clean.
