Weatherby Mark V Deluxe .270 Win 26 in Aa Walnut Gloss Blue Finish

The Weatherby Mark V Deluxe .270 Win is a bolt-action hunting rifle that brings classic Weatherby craftsmanship to the field with a high gloss AA walnut stock and deep blue steel finish, and when you pick it up you feel the balance from its 8.2-pound weight and 26-inch #2 contour barrel designed for long-range accuracy and manageable handling in rugged terrain. The Mark V series has a storied reputation for controlled-round feeding and a smooth, three-lug action and this Deluxe model adds regal diamond-point checkering, a rosewood forend and grip cap with maple spacers for refined looks and a sure grip in wet or cold conditions, while the Monte Carlo comb with measured drop at comb and heel provides a repeatable cheek weld for scope work. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes the range of .270 bullets hunters use for deer through elk-size game, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad keeps follow-up shots comfortable on long days afield or at the range. Note that this rifle requires FFL transfer; as a Mark V Deluxe it suits serious hunters and collectors who want traditional styling paired with modern accuracy in a reliable hunting rifle.
