Weatherby Vanguard Black Hills 22-250 Rem 24" 5rd Rifle

The Vanguard Black Hills is a hunting rifle with accessory mounting built in. The Peak 44 Monte Carlo stock is black polymer with green and tan paint and a raised comb, and it comes fitted with a Picatinny rail plus an Arca/Pic adapter on the forend, so a bipod or tripod clamp goes on directly. This one is chambered in 22-250 Remington with a 24 inch #2 contour cold hammer forged barrel threaded 1/2-28 and topped with a muzzle brake.

The 22-250 is one of the fastest varmint cartridges around, and with a brake on a 7.8 pound rifle you can watch your hits on prairie dogs and coyotes through the scope. The barrel, receiver, bolt and safety wear a matte blue finish. Underneath is the Vanguard action with an M16 style extractor, a 3 position safety, an adjustable trigger and a 5 round internal magazine. No iron sights are fitted; the receiver rail is ready for your scope rings.
