Vortex Crossfire II Solar Red Dot Sight 2 MOA

The Crossfire II solar red dot uses a panel on the housing to feed the illumination. The dot itself is 2 MOA, which is the size most shooters land on as a working compromise: small enough to hold precision on a target at distance, big enough to pick up fast at close range.

A red dot has no magnification and no eye relief to manage, so head position behind it is forgiving and the sight can be run with both eyes open while staying aware of everything around the target. That is what makes a dot quicker than irons or a magnified optic inside a couple of hundred yards, and it is why the format took over on carbines and defensive shotguns. This one is finished in black.
