Ultradyne UD3 Rifle Chassis Short Action 3 Slot

The UD3 is the 3 slot chassis in Ultradyne's lineup. Like the rest of the line it starts as a solid bar of aluminum and gets machined as a single piece, so there are no joints between the recoil lug area and the forend to work loose over a season of shooting.

Ultradyne quotes 1.1 to 1.5 pounds across the chassis models, which covers rifles as light as 6 pounds and as heavy as 16. Magazines are AICS pattern, barrel clearance runs to 1.35" in diameter, and a FAB Defense Gradus grip comes on it. Add the Ultradyne adjustable butt stock and the whole assembly still comes in under most factory stocks, with room for up to 5 pounds of optional weight if you want the rifle to sit still.
