About the Sharps Bros Heatseeker Chassis
Heatseeker is a chassis system for a bolt action rifle, meant to replace a traditional factory stock with something sleeker and more modern without a full custom build. It fits the Ruger American Ranch in the AR magazine fed configuration, Gen 1 and Gen 2.
The chassis body is machined from a solid block of aluminum and weighs 1 pound 3 ounces. It comes with a 10 ounce 14 inch handguard cut from an extrusion shape exclusive to Sharps Bros, with M-LOK slots on four sides for a light, bipod, night vision or an ARCA rail, plus two quick disconnect fittings per side for a sling. Both pieces wear a matte black Cerakote finish and the chassis carries a 1913 rail.
