Traditions Outfitter G3 Pro 450 Bushmaster 22" 3-9x40 Scope Rifle

The Outfitter G3 Pro is a break action single shot rifle, which means there is no magazine, no bolt throw and very little to go wrong. Push the lever, the barrel drops open, you drop in one round of 450 Bushmaster and close it. Straight wall cartridge states have made rifles like this popular for deer season, and the 450 hits hard enough that a follow up shot is rarely the point. The 22 inch chromoly barrel is fluted to shed weight and threaded at the muzzle if you want to add a brake.

Pro Series stocks separate this one from the base G3. Length of pull adjusts with spacers and the cheekpiece raises or lowers with a screw in the side of the stock, so shooters of different sizes can get behind the same rifle and still line up with the scope. The forend removes with the push of a button for cleaning and transport. A 3-9x40 scope is mounted and boresighted at the factory, so the rifle needs only a short trip to the range to confirm zero. Cerakote on the metal keeps the weather off it during long sits in a wet stand.
