Tisas Regent BR9 9mm 4.67" 15rd Wood Grip Pistol

The Regent BR9 is Tisas's take on the Browning Hi-Power, the pistol that gave the world the double stack 9mm and then served with more militaries than almost any handgun in history. The layout is faithful: steel frame and slide, a single action trigger fed by a hammer you thumb back, a manual safety on the frame, and that unmistakable slide profile. Wood grip panels replace the checkered plastic the originals often wore and warm the whole gun up considerably.

Barrel length is 4.67 inches and each magazine holds 15 rounds, with two magazines in the box. The black finish resists corrosion better than the bluing on a vintage Hi-Power, so this one is meant to be carried and shot rather than kept in a safe. Grip angle and balance are why people keep coming back to the design. A Hi-Power points naturally for most hands, and the steel frame soaks up 9mm recoil until the gun barely moves between shots. Tisas has spent years building these on modern machinery, which is how a pattern drawn up in the 1930s is still in production today.
