A 9mm 1911 is a different animal from a 45. Recoil drops off, the sights come back down faster, and the magazines hold more. The Tisas 1911 Night Stalker 9 puts that combination in a full size gun with a 5" barrel, a carbon steel frame, single action only lockwork, and two 9 round magazines.
Everything that makes the Night Stalker line worth a look carries over. The dust cover has an accessory rail for a weapon light. The slide is cut for weight and for grip. The frame carries extra checkering where the hand contacts it, and aluminum grip panels keep the profile slim. A front night sight covers low light. The finish is gray Cerakote, which wears better than bluing and looks like something other than the fifth black 1911 in the safe. It carries cocked and locked with the short trigger travel that keeps people buying 1911s more than a century after the design was adopted. In 9mm it also makes a genuinely pleasant range gun, which is not a phrase anyone uses about a lightweight 45.
