Tisas 1911 Duty Raider 9mm 5" 9rd FDE Pistol

Tisas builds the full size 1911 the way it has always been built, and the Duty Raider is the rail equipped version of that idea. It is a 5" gun in 9mm on a steel frame, so it handles the way a 1911 is supposed to: heavy up front, low bore axis, and a single action trigger that breaks straight back with no take up to walk through. Nine rounds per magazine and two magazines come with the pistol.

The Raider spec sheet is where it separates from a plain service pattern gun. The frame carries an accessory rail forward of the trigger guard for a light or laser. The mainspring housing is an Ed Brown bobtail, which rounds off the sharp heel that prints through a cover garment and digs into the web of the hand under recoil. Sights are Novak pattern three dot, dovetailed rather than staked. G10 grip panels replace checkered wood and hold onto the hand when it is wet or gloved. The whole gun wears a Flat Dark Earth finish instead of the usual black or stainless, which reads as a modern working pistol rather than a service reproduction.
