Tisas 1911 Duty 9 DS 9mm 5" 17rd Pistol

The Duty 9 DS is the 5" version of Tisas's double stack 1911, and the extra barrel length over the carry model does what you would expect: a longer sight radius, a little more velocity, and slightly less muzzle rise from the added weight out front. The bull barrel design skips the barrel bushing entirely and locks up in the slide instead, which makes for a tighter and simpler front end. Magazine capacity is 17 rounds and two magazines come in the case.

Sights are dovetail cut with a fiber optic front that picks up fast in daylight, and the slide is cut for a red dot if you would rather run one. The full length frame carries an accessory rail for a weapon light and the firing pin is titanium. Everything is finished in QPQ, a hardened surface treatment that handles sweat and holster wear. The single action trigger and thumb safety are pure 1911, so anyone who grew up behind a Government model can pick this one up and shoot it without relearning a thing, only now with more than twice the rounds on board. It is a lot of gun for a nightstand or a range bag.
