About the Tikka T3x Ace Target
Chambered in 6mm Creedmoor, this T3x Ace Target is aimed squarely at the practical precision crowd. The 6mm CM pushes light bullets fast and flat with very little recoil, which is why it took over club matches: shooters can spot their own impacts and correct without coming off the gun. Tikka feeds it from a 10 round magazine, so a stage rarely ends on an empty rifle. The heavy contour barrel is threaded at the muzzle and carries enough mass to stay honest as the round count climbs.
The chassis is where the Ace earns its name. Length of pull, cheek height, grip angle and position all move, and the forend carries M-LOK slots with an ARCA rail for bags and bipods. The receiver wears a Picatinny rail and a bronze Cerakote finish over the aluminum chassis. A two stage trigger breaks cleanly and the T3x action underneath has one of the smoothest bolt throws in the price class. It is a rifle that shoots well out of the box and rewards a shooter who takes the time to dial the fit in properly before a match.
