Tikka T3x Ace Game 6mm Creedmoor 24" 5rd Midnight Bronze Rifle

The T3x Ace Game takes the same modular chassis as the Ace Target and puts it on a diet. The barrel is a fluted medium contour, threaded at the muzzle, and it pulls enough weight off the front end that the rifle can be carried through a long day of hunting or a field match without punishing the shooter. The receiver is aluminum wearing a Midnight Bronze finish, with a Picatinny rail machined in and an ARCA Swiss and M-LOK forend ready for tripods, bags and bipods.

The rear stock is where the Ace Game earns its keep. Length of pull, cheek height and recoil pad position all adjust, so the rifle can be set up around a hunting jacket or a shooting coat instead of the other way round. The skeletonized butt accepts weights if you want to tune balance for a match, and the ambidextrous thumb rest moves to give the firing hand a repeatable index. The T3x action underneath is the same short throw, smooth cycling bolt Tikka builds for everything else, feeding from a 5 round detachable magazine. In 6mm Creedmoor the 24" barrel gives the cartridge the room it wants while keeping the whole package manageable on a pack.
