About the Thompson Center Encore Pro
This is a 20" Encore Pro Hunter Katahdin barrel chambered in 450 Bushmaster. It is stainless steel, which is the easier finish to live with in wet weather, and it is fluted - the flutes are there to pull weight out of the barrel without giving up stiffness. Thompson Center test fires every Pro Hunter barrel at 100 yards before it leaves the factory.
The muzzle is threaded 11/16-24 if you want to hang something off the end. The barrel is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and needs no gunsmithing to install. Fitment is Encore series frames.
