Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Muzzleloader Forend Mossy Oak Bottomland

This is the ProHunter muzzleloader forend from Thompson Center, cut for the muzzleloader barrel profile and finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland to match the camo furniture the ProHunter came with.

A forend takes the worst of the abuse on a break open gun. It rides against packs, blind rails, and truck seats, and the camo film wears through long before anything else on the rifle does. Replacing it puts the gun back to looking right with no gunsmithing involved. The ProHunter forearm is the fuller of the two Thompson Center shapes, so it fills the support hand better than the slim Encore forearm when you are shooting off sticks. Installation is the forend screw and a few minutes at the bench.
