Taurus GX2 TORO 9mm 3.38" 13rd Cyan Pistol

A cyan frame under a matte stainless slide is not a color combination most manufacturers are willing to build, and that is exactly the appeal of this one. Mechanically it is the standard GX2 TORO: 9mm, a 3.38" Sharpshooter barrel, a 13rd magazine in a compact grip, a stainless steel chassis inside the polymer frame, and a slide cut at the factory for a micro red dot.

Taurus fits a manual thumb safety alongside the hinged blade in the flat face trigger, so there are two deliberate steps between holstered and firing if the shooter wants them. Sights are a fixed white dot front with a drift adjustable serrated rear. Two backstraps come with the gun so grip circumference is adjustable, and there is a Picatinny rail on the dust cover for a light. Bright frames get dismissed as a gimmick, but they do two useful things: they make a pistol instantly identifiable as yours in a shared range bag, and they make it obvious at a glance that a gun is sitting somewhere it should not be. Under the paint this is the same compact 9mm that has been outselling far more expensive guns since it launched.
