The SureFire SOCOM Mini4 is the compact entry in the SOCOM 4 series, and it brings the same low back pressure engineering as its bigger brothers in a package that barely changes how a carbine handles. At 5.5" long and 1.5" in diameter, it hangs off the muzzle without wrecking the balance of a short gun, which is exactly where a low back pressure can matters most since short barrels dump the most gas back at the shooter. SureFire builds it entirely from U.S. mill-certified Inconel superalloy, so it stands up to the heat and erosion of sustained 5.56mm fire even on a short barreled rifle.
Like every SOCOM series can, the Mini4 locks onto SureFire Fast-Attach muzzle devices in seconds and holds zero when it comes on and off. Pin a Fast-Attach flash hider on each of your rifles and one Mini4 covers the whole safe. This is the black version. Optimized for 14.5" rifles and equally at home on duty carbines, training guns, and anything that sees high round counts, the Mini4 is the small can that does not shoot like a compromise.
