Standard Manufacturing SR1 22 LR 1.75" 8rd Revolver

Standard Manufacturing designed the SR1 around a single idea: a small revolver that will not fire unless you mean it. The trigger uses a double cantilever design with an integral blade safety, so the gun only goes off when the blade is pressed and the trigger travels completely through its arc. There is no manual safety to remember under stress and no separate step to learn, which is the whole appeal of a revolver in the first place.

The cylinder holds eight rounds of 22 LR and the barrel measures 1.75", so the entire gun disappears into a jacket pocket or a bag. Operation is as simple as any double action revolver: load it, close it, pull through. Rimfire recoil is mild enough that new shooters and anyone with limited hand strength can run it without developing a flinch, and 22 LR ammunition is cheap enough to practice with properly. Finish is black throughout. As a trainer, a trail gun for pests and snakes, or a discreet backup where a larger handgun is not going to get carried, the SR1 covers ground that small semi auto pistols handle poorly.
