Springfield's Echelon 4.0C trims the full size gun to a 4" barrel and a compact frame while keeping the serialized Central Operating Group, so the trigger and the internals are the same parts the larger models use. Optics mount through the Variable Interface System, which drops most common red dot footprints straight onto the slide instead of stacking adapter plates. Tritium U-Dot irons handle the job when the dot is switched off or the battery quits on you.

The olive drab green Cerakote finish gives this one a look distinct from the standard black guns, and it wears better than paint on a gun that lives in a holster. This is the 10 round configuration, which is what shooters in capacity restricted states need, and it comes as a Gear Pac bundle. The slide is billet machined and cut optic ready, and the barrel measures 4". RSR describes the 4.0C as retaining the key features of the full size Echelon in a shorter, more concealable package.
