The Metal line moved the M&P off a polymer frame and onto a machined metal one, and the added mass is what shooters notice first: less muzzle rise, faster sight recovery, and a gun that settles instead of bouncing. The frame keeps M2.0 grip texturing and the interchangeable palmswell inserts, and the slide comes cut for a micro red dot rather than requiring milling later.

The package pairs the pistol with a Viridian RFX11 green dot and five 15rd magazines, which is enough on hand capacity to run a full class or a match weekend without loading between strings. Green dots read faster than red for a lot of eyes in bright daylight, and the RFX11 is a compact reflex that keeps the slide profile low.
