Smith and Wesson Model 460 XVR 460 S and W Magnum 5 inch Barrel 5 rounds Satin Stainless

The Smith & Wesson 163465 Model 460 XVR is a stainless steel X-Frame revolver built to deliver raw big-bore performance for hunters and serious bear-defense users, chambered in .460 S&W Magnum with a 5" satin stainless barrel and a five-round cylinder that pushes select loads to around 2,100 ft/sec. The XVR series pairs an extra-large stainless frame and satin cylinder with black finger-grooved synthetic grips and an exposed hammer to offer controllable handling of heavy recoil while the DA/SA action provides fast follow-up shots or deliberate single-action accuracy; overall length is 11.30" and the empty weight sits around 60.7 oz, giving it a stable, balanced feel in the field. This package includes two rear sights to tune point of aim across chamberings plus two muzzle brakes—one optimized for jacketed bullets and one for lead bullets—so you can manage recoil and blast whether you're shooting hard-cast projectiles or high-velocity hunters, while the red ramp front and adjustable rear sight make long-range shots and precise targeting more achievable. As an intimidating personal-protection option and a dedicated large-game hunting sidearm, the Model 460 XVR brings the power, sighting versatility, and durability expected from Smith & Wesson's heavy-caliber revolver lineup.
