About the Sig Sauer Romeo-X Compact
The Sig Sauer Romeo-X Compact is an open emitter pistol red dot inspired by the military Romeo-M17. This version runs a 3 MOA red dot and a plain black backup sight instead of a fiber optic one, and it mounts directly on the Shield RMSc footprint, which makes it a fit for the optics ready P365 family. It is not meant for the P320, P226 or P229, which take the Romeo-X Pro.
The housing is aluminum around a distortion free aspherical lens, and the low deck height allows co-witness with standard height iron sights. MOTAC motion activation and 15 brightness settings, 3 of them for night vision, stretch the side loading CR1632 battery to a rated 20,000 hours, and you do not have to pull the optic to change it. The sight weighs about 1 oz and is 1.62 inches long.
