Sig Sauer MCX Spear 7.62 NATO 16" 20rd Multicam Rifle

The Sig Sauer MCX Spear in 7.62 NATO is the civilian version of the US Army's Next Generation Squad Weapon, the rifle that won the contract to replace the M4 carbine and M249 SAW. The 16 inch threaded barrel provides full velocity development from the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge, and the SLX/SLH QD flash hider accepts Sig Sauer suppressors directly. The 20 round magazine provides solid capacity for a full power battle rifle cartridge, and the Multicam Cerakote finish provides both camouflage utility and durable surface protection. The short stroke gas piston operates the same way as the rest of the MCX family, keeping the action clean and reducing fouling.

The MCX Spear represents the pinnacle of the MCX platform, built to handle the higher pressures and energies of the 7.62 NATO cartridge while maintaining the ergonomics and modularity that define the MCX. The folding stock collapses flat against the receiver, and the ambidextrous controls put every function within reach for left or right handed shooters. The two stage Geissele trigger provides a crisp, match quality pull that precision shooters appreciate, and the free float M-LOK handguard provides a rigid mounting platform for bipods, lights, and other accessories. The gas system is adjustable for suppressed and unsuppressed shooting. At MAP price near $4,600, this is a premium rifle built to a military standard that exceeds anything in the commercial sporting rifle market. The 7.62 NATO chambering gives you access to an extensive selection of match, hunting, and surplus ammunition, and the platform's modularity means it adapts as your needs evolve.
