About the Sierra 7mm 185gr Tipped
Sierra's Tipped MatchKing takes the proven 185 grain 7mm MatchKing profile and adds an acetal resin tip that raises the ballistic coefficient and smooths feeding from magazines. Handloaders running 7mm PRC, 7mm Remington Magnum, 28 Nosler, or 280 Ackley push these for long range match work where wind calls decide scores, and the .284 diameter 185 grain weight sits in the sweet spot for fast twist 7mm barrels.
This is the 500 count box, the right quantity for load development plus a full season of matches from a single lot. Sierra holds MatchKing jacket and core tolerances tight enough that most shooters seat and shoot without sorting.
