Tisas 1911 Duty B9R 9mm 5" 17rd Pistol

The Tisas 1911 Duty B9R is a full size double stack 1911 in 9mm. It runs 17 round magazines, two of them come with the pistol, so you get modern capacity in a gun that still has the 1911 grip angle and trigger feel. The 5" bull barrel is bushingless with a target crown and sits on a full length guide rod, which keeps the muzzle calmer on fast strings. The frame and slide are steel and it wears a black Cerakote finish.

The slide is cut for RMSc footprint red dots, and the standard height sights give a lower 1/3 co-witness through a mounted dot. An accessory rail on the dust cover takes common weapon lights and keeps holster fit in line with other double stack 1911s. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a commander style hammer over a smooth single action trigger. Textured polymer grips hold well with wet or gloved hands. It makes sense as a duty or home defense gun for a shooter who likes the 1911 manual of arms but wants more than 9 rounds on board, and it is a solid entry into double stack 1911 competition.
