Savage Arms AXIS XP 6.5 Creedmoor 22" 4rd Matte Rifle

The Savage Arms AXIS XP in 6.5 Creedmoor gives new and budget-minded hunters an out-of-the-box rifle package with a 22" matte blued barrel, a 4-round detachable box magazine, and a factory-bore-sighted Bushnell 3-9x40 scope mounted on Weaver-style bases. The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable and breaks crisp without creep, a feature usually reserved for rifles well above the AXIS price point. The matte black synthetic stock holds the barreled action with solid bedding for repeatable shot-to-shot point of impact.

6.5 Creedmoor has become the benchmark medium-game and target cartridge for good reason: flat trajectory, mild recoil, and abundant factory ammo. The AXIS XP chambered in it handles whitetail, mule deer, hogs, and coyote, and the scope package means the shooter does not have to spend another $200 on glass before heading to the range. The button-rifled barrel and free-floated setup keep groups tight within the class. Drilled and tapped receiver, sling swivel studs, and a recoil pad round out a complete hunting rig ready to zero and hunt.
