SAR USA SAR9 Gen 3 9mm Pistol

The SAR9 is a duty sized striker fired 9mm, and the Gen 3 update reworked the earlier guns around the grip and the trigger. The frame is polymer with a steel slide riding full length rails, and the controls are laid out to work from either side, with an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release. Interchangeable backstraps and side grip panels come with the pistol, and they change both the circumference and the palm swell rather than just the curve of the backstrap.

Three dot sights sit in dovetails front and rear, the trigger carries an integrated blade safety, and a loaded chamber indicator gives both a visual and a tactile check. An accessory rail under the dust cover takes a light or a laser. The slide is cut with deep serrations front and rear that stay usable with wet or gloved hands, and the magazine well is beveled to guide a magazine home under pressure. SAR built the line as service pistols first, and the SAR9 handles like one: heavy enough in the hand to settle down under recoil, with a grip long enough to get all three fingers on the gun.
