This Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Compact, model 14032, is the California compliant version with a manual thumb safety and two 10 round magazines. It carries the 4" barrel and compact grip of the standard M2.0 Compact, which makes it a good fit for carry and for the nightstand alike. The striker fired M2.0 trigger is crisper and lighter than the original M&P, with a reset you can feel and hear.

An extended stainless steel chassis is embedded in the polymer frame to cut flex and torque, and the low bore axis keeps muzzle rise down so the sights come back fast. The 18 degree grip angle points naturally, the grip texture is aggressive for a firm hold, and four interchangeable palmswell inserts (S, M, ML and L) tune the fit and trigger reach. The slide wears Smith & Wesson's Armornite finish, the sights are white dot, and the frame has an accessory rail for a light. A loaded chamber indicator and ambidextrous thumb safety round it out. It weighs 24 oz and measures 7.25" long, 5" tall and 1.5" wide.
