Ruger SP101 38 Special +P 2.25 in 5rd Satin Stainless Exposed Hammer

The Ruger SP101 model 5737 is a compact, rugged stainless-steel revolver built for everyday carry, duty backup and range work, chambered in 38 Special +P with a 5-round capacity and a 2.25" satin stainless barrel that balances concealability and ballistic performance. This SP101 continues Ruger's long-running series reputation for overbuilt durability with a triple-locking cylinder for positive alignment, a patented transfer bar safety that guards against accidental discharge, and a takedown design that lets you field-strip integrated subassemblies without special tools for straightforward maintenance. The satin stainless barrel, cylinder and frame resist corrosion while the black rubber cushioned grip with an insert removes exposed metal from the backstrap for comfortable control and recoil management; the exposed hammer and DA/SA action allow both deliberate single-action shots and quick double-action pulls, and the pinned black ramp front and integral rear sights give fast target acquisition at close range. At 7.20" overall and 26 ounces, this SP101 is well suited to concealed carry, off-duty carry, home defense or range training, is CA and MA approved where required, and is sold through licensed FFL channels.
