About this product
The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 puts Ruger's rimfire target pistol action inside a polymer grip frame with checkered 1911 style grip panels. This model has a 4.4 inch threaded barrel with a thread protector, ready for a rimfire suppressor or muzzle device, and a factory installed Picatinny rail for mounting a red dot or scope.
The big Mark IV improvement is the one button takedown. Press the button at the back of the frame and the barrel and receiver tilt up and off the grip frame without tools, which makes cleaning simple. The receiver uses an internal bolt, so the sights stay fixed to the barrel, and the adjustable rear sight lets you zero the irons. The polymer grip frame has a serrated front strap and checkered back strap. Magazines drop free, and a magazine disconnect keeps it from firing with the magazine out. It comes with two 10 round magazines, a great setup for training new shooters, plinking and small game.
