Ruger GP100 357 Mag 4.2" 7rd Revolver

This TALO edition Ruger GP100 puts seven rounds of 357 Magnum in a blued steel medium frame revolver with a 4.2" barrel. The GP100 is famous for being nearly impossible to wear out, and the seven shot cylinder gives you one more round than the classic six gun without growing the frame. It also fires 38 Special for low recoil practice. A fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight make it quick to pick up the front post and easy to zero for your load, and a cushioned rubber grip with a hardwood insert soaks up recoil.

Every GP100 uses a triple locking cylinder that locks into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for solid alignment shot after shot, along with a transfer bar mechanism for security against accidental discharge. Integrated subassemblies come apart for cleaning without special tools, and the grip frame accepts a wide range of custom grips. At about 40 ounces it is a heavy gun, and that weight is exactly why full power magnums are comfortable to shoot. It works as a home defense revolver, a field gun for hunting and the woods, or a range gun that will outlast its owner.
