Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt 4.62" 6rd Revolver

This New Model Blackhawk pairs the 45 Colt cartridge with a 4.62" barrel, the classic 4 5/8" length that balances well and rides easily in a holster. The barrel, cylinder and frame are blued alloy steel, and the black checkered hard rubber grips follow the traditional western profile. At 39 ounces it has enough heft to keep stout 45 Colt loads under control.

What makes it a Blackhawk is the adjustable rear sight, paired with a ramp front, so you can zero for whatever load you shoot, from mild cowboy rounds to hunting loads. The cold hammer forged barrel has precise rifling for good accuracy and long life. Ruger's transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock guard against accidental discharge. It works for cowboy action matches, hunting at close range, trail carry or just enjoying a traditional single action at the range. The exposed hammer and simple manual of arms suit new and experienced shooters alike.
