About the Ruger AR-15 Complete Lower
Ruger's Complete AR Lower is a fully assembled lower receiver cut to mil-spec dimensions, so it mates with standard AR-15 pattern upper receiver assemblies. The receiver is machined from forged aluminum and wears a hardcoat anodized finish. An adjustable tension screw takes the play out of the fit between upper and lower.
The fire control group is Ruger's Elite 452 two stage AR trigger. A full strength hammer spring keeps primer ignition consistent and a lightweight hammer shortens lock time. Magpul supplies the furniture: an MOE-K2 grip and a DT Carbine collapsible buttstock on a mil-spec buffer tube, with the carbine buffer and recoil spring already in place. Collapsed to extended, the assembly measures 15.38" to 18.68" with a 10.75" to 14" length of pull and a height of 6.75". It weighs 2.2 pounds. Add an upper and it is a complete rifle.
