Ruger American Gen II Predator Wilderness TOPO 6.5 Grendel 22" 10rd Rifle

6.5 Grendel is an efficient little cartridge that punches above its case size. Long 6.5mm bullets at moderate speed give it a flat enough trajectory for deer inside 300 yards with recoil that barely moves the rifle, and a 22" bolt gun wrings more out of it than a carbine barrel does. Ruger's Generation II Predator gives it a cold hammer forged, spiral fluted barrel with a threaded muzzle and a factory radial port brake.

The rifle feeds from a 10 round AR pattern magazine, so a day at a prairie dog town or a long sit over a food plot does not turn into a reloading drill. Burnt bronze metalwork over a green splatter stock keeps it from flashing in the timber. The Marksman Adjustable trigger is owner set, the tang safety sits under your thumb with a middle position for unloading, and the one piece stainless bolt runs a 70 degree throw for scope clearance. Length of pull adjusts with a spacer and the comb lifts out when larger rings go on. A Picatinny base comes installed on the receiver.
