Rossi R95 Trapper 45-70 Govt 16.5" 5rd Polymer Rifle

The Rossi R95 Trapper in 45-70 Govt is a short, hard hitting lever action rifle with a black polymer stock and forend that will not mind rain, mud or a rough truck ride. The 16.5" barrel is threaded 5/8-24 for a brake or a suppressor, and the tube magazine holds 5 rounds of a cartridge that has taken every kind of North American big game.

The metal is black oxide over alloy steel, and a Picatinny rail on the receiver makes room for a red dot or a scout style setup. Iron sights are a drift adjustable front and an adjustable buckhorn rear for quick shots in heavy cover. A crossbolt safety sits in the receiver, and the rifle weighs about 6.7 lbs. The short barrel and synthetic furniture make this a natural brush gun for elk and moose in the timber, a bear rifle for guides and anglers, or a truck gun for ranch country. It carries easily and puts a heavy bullet where it needs to go.
