Retay RXP22 22 LR 4" 13/18rd OD Green Threaded Pistol

Retay markets the RXP22 as a superior training pistol and backs it with a barrel most rimfires do not get. Instead of hammer forging, Retay deep bore drills the chrome finished steel barrel, which is a slower way to make a bore but a straighter one. The muzzle is threaded for a rimfire can, and a 22 with a suppressor on it is about as pleasant a way to shoot as exists. This one wears an OD green frame, a color that hides scuffs and reads as working gear.

The pistol runs a DA/SA hammer action, so the trigger behaves the way a service pistol does: long first press, short single action presses after. That is a skill worth drilling, and drilling it on rimfire ammunition costs a fraction of what centerfire practice does.
