Same RXP22 platform, gray finish. Retay's rimfire pistol was designed to feel like a service 9mm in the hand rather than like a toy, and that decision is what makes it useful. Grip circumference, slide mass, and control placement all sit close enough to a centerfire duty gun that skills built on it carry across. The chrome finished barrel is deep bore drilled for straightness and the muzzle is threaded, so a rimfire suppressor mounts without a trip to a shop.

The trigger is DA/SA. First shot off a decocked hammer is a long pull, the rest run short and single action, and learning to manage that transition on cheap ammunition is far easier than learning it on a 9mm. Two magazines come with the pistol, a 13rd and an 18rd, so range time is not spent reloading a single stick. A TruGlo front sight sits up front for fast pickup. The gray slide and frame combination reads a little quieter than the black version and hides handling marks better, which matters on a gun that is meant to be shot hard rather than admired.
